Painting is an excellent course for students interested in learning how to paint, or increasing their knowledge of the subject. This course explores many types of painting techniques in many painting media including acrylic, watercolor, and tempera. Unusual and multi-faceted activities will be introduced including mixed media and abstract paintings and shaped canvases. Painting is the time of your day when you decompress and learn how to paint beautiful works for college portfolios, future more advanced classes, or simply your own living space's decor. Techniques in color, composition, application and value are learned to create landscapes, still lives, portraits and a lot more.

Studio In Art
Students will work with a variety of painting materials including, but not limited to: acrylic, watercolor, tempera, and gouache paints on board, paper, and canvas
