In Ceramics and Sculpture, we expand on our understanding of how the elements of art and principles of design can be applied to three-dimensional work. Using hand-building techniques, glazing, and firing, students will create clay objects that are functional and sculptural. Other materials explored in this class may include, wood, plaster, foam, wire, and found objects.
Ceramics & Sculpture is a 1 credit, full year course.
This course does not fulfill the art graduation requirement
There are no prerequisites for this course,.
Students will be working with a variety of materials including, but not limited to: wood, wire, paper mâché, clay, glaze, paint and foam.
