Zoomed Shoe

The main ideas for this piece were vaporwave. I really like the style and colors, and wanted to try it out. But I also could not figure out anything else to fill the space, so I ended up just going off of random ideas.

To create this piece, I started with graphite pencils to sketch and finalize each part of the piece, and then used Sharpie markers to add borders and color.

From the beginning, I had the idea for doing something vaporwave-esc. So I found some reference images and tried my best at it. Afterwards I just dove deep into the corners of my creativity to find something else to fill the empty spaces, and ended up with some fairly disconnected ideas that I think work together in some strange way.
