Color Design

I got the idea to create a colorful cave setting, since I had to do all of the colors. I then added in the idea of framing it like a rainbow.

I first sketched the crystals out with graphite to get the shape and proportions right, as well as spacing. Then I mixed up each color and painted the sections with acrylic.

I had to do a little research on the shape of crystals to get an idea of what I wanted. Once I had that, I was able to better visualize and sketch them out. Multiple crystals also went through a handful of redesigns to get the scaling right.
