The ideas behind each piece are nothing spectacular or deep. They are simply drawings of things I saw.

I used graphite pencils for every part of the drawings. I made careful note of which I used for where, especially in the Still Life drawing, for shading purposes.

The only drawing that I didn't have even remotely a hard time with was the Self Portrait. It was as easy as drawing what I saw in the mirror. The other two, however, were a bit more difficult. For the Still Life drawing, I had to decide on an interesting object to draw, and what angle to draw it from. I ended up deciding on my earbuds in their case, as I thought it would be a fun challenge in shading. For the Corner Of A Room drawing, I had to decide on an interesting corner that I could look at for a long time, which really limited the options. I decided on a corner in my advisory room, because there are some things there, but not too much. And because I didn't have to focus on learning stuff instead of drawing.
