The ideas behind this work were quite simple—similar to the other recent assignments—where it was simply drawing from a photograph. The main driving idea was to capture the scene of the original photograph.
To create this work, I used a mix of graphite pencil—mostly for initial drawing—charcoal, and some ink.
To create this work, I used graphite pencils of varying grades to create most of the shades, and then charcoal to make the darker sections, and ink for the pure black areas.
