Time Capsules

The main idea that guided my artwork for my self-portrait was attempting to draw a somewhat realistic portrait of myself. So I decided to create a portrait of myself as I was looking into a mirror.

The materials I used were an HB and 2B pencil, I also used just basic drawing paper (9x12) That is all of the materials I used for this project. I started by drawing my shoulders, and the shape of my head, then I went on to the details on my face like eyes, nose, lips, etc...

The first thing I did was get a mirror and look at myself in it, I looked at my paper and decided I would start with my shoulders and head shapes. I structured it in somewhat the center of the page, and then began to draw my self portrait.
