Surrealism

What guided my artwork was first while creating the collage, I knew I wanted it to be colorful but also have a little bit of writing in it. When creating my painting I was inspired by the collage in order to make it similar and make sure it's visibly supposed to be alike the collage.

The materials I used to create this piece of artwork were acrylic paint and Sharpie paint marker on a 9x12 canvas paper. These materials helped me make my painting look like my collage.

The first thing I did to begin this piece of artwork was I outline all of the shapes that were on my collage to match the colors and shapes, then I began mixing all of my paint to match the color of the paper on my collage, and then I matched the collage as best as possible.
