Assemblage Sculpture

While creating my assemblage sculpture, I knew I wanted to do something that was inspired by flowers, but also something that was unique and made out of resources that I could easily access. I wanted to do something simple, like a flower but made out of many different things.

The materials I used to create this artwork were cardboard, plastic spoons,  hot glue, and flower decorations I found in the supply closet.

The first thing I did was chose the sculpture I wanted to make which I decided on a flower, I then figured out what I would use as the stem, which was two plastic spoons glued together, then I decided I would use cardboard as my petals, and when struggling to figure out what would work for the center of my flower,  I found some plastic pieces from a flower that worked well.
