Pure Contour

What inspired my drawing of my hand holding a rubberband was making it look as realistic as possible. I tried to make the wrinkles in the hand very detailed to make it look as realistic as possible.

The materials I used to create this drawing were just a graphite pencil and drawing paper. I started by drawing the outline of the hand and then the wrinkles, hand features, and finally the rubberband.

I started off by drawing the outline of my hand from the angle I saw it at, next I carefully added the detailed wrinkles on the inside of my hand, then I added my sleeve and the rubberband.
