Scratchboard 

A picture of my dog, Fenway guided my artwork for this piece of artwork. I knew I wanted to make it look as much like the picture as I could so I decided to create an outline when beginning to create this piece.

The materials I used to create this piece of artwork were scratchboard and a stylist.

The first thing I did to begin this piece of artwork was I outline the photo reference so I could make sure it looks as realistic as possible, then I began to scratch the leg, moving my way up slowly, finishing with his eyes.
