Mixed Media Drawing

The main idea that inspired my artwork was the picture of my mom holding Fenway the day we got him. It is a really cute picture of him and I wanted to use it and make it somewhat realistic.

The materials I used to create this piece of artwork were charcoal and ink on pastel paper, these materials helped me create a picture of my dog.

The first thing I did was start in the top right corner of the paper and began to do each box from left to right, I also shaded as I went through to make sure it looks realistic and the background matched the background in the picture.
