Our project was to inform the audience about how to perfect a simple element in a specific sport. We chose one very important element in volleyball, the attack. Attacking in volleyball requires the right footwork, arm movements, and speed. We described each step in our video so you have the best help figuring out how to attack in volleyball. Enjoy!
We used post it notes to create a storyboard/cartoon to get a good idea of what our video will be like.
We hope that our video was informational to anyone wanting to learn how to attack in volleyball.
Our process for this project was to decide on which sport and element we wanted to do our project on. We decided on doing a volleyball attack. Our first step with this was to create a storyboard like the one we showed above. After that we created a script for what we would say during the video to explain how to do said skill. We then started recording. We recorded many videos of Katie's transition back from the net and towards the net for a proper attack. We recorded in slow motion and regular speed. When we finished recording Katie and I started editing and putting together our intro and the rest of our video. During this time our other group mate Jessi started our calculations. We had the calculations for the velocity of the ball after the hit and the force of impact on the volleyball. After we had the calculations done we continued to edit our video and add in other things like the calculations and voice overs for each step in the video. After a few days we finished editing and adding our information. Then we added music and we were finished.
