Overall I think our first project of STEM chemistry went well, my group was well organized and was able to turn in sufficient work in the time given to us. I think two area I was able to do well in for this project would be communication and being a good group collaborator. My group was able to all communicate our ideas with one another and share some updates about each section of our workloads for the project. Personally, I think I was able to inform my group about what part of the work I was getting done and when I think I would be finished by. I also think I was able to listen to each one of groupmates about what they were doing and sharing all of our ideas for the project from the very beginning. Collaboration was another area in which I think I did well. Sectioning up and evenly giving eachother a good amount of work while keeping eachother updated is something I think my group did well. We all were able to collaborate to the final product of the whole project while working with eachothers strengths. I think I was able to collaborate well with my group because of this, drawing being a strong suit of mine was helpful for getting my work done and then being able to help with the work load of my groupmates.
While I think this porject went well there are always areas in which I, myself can improve for the future. Two of these area could be in critical thinking and conscientious learner. During the project I was able to do some research about my topic of work, but lots of the time I went straight to asking Mrs. Vogl about what I should do or for something I didn't understand. In the future for being a better critical thinkner I will do more research and asking my groupmates what they think about something before going to just ask Mrs. Vogl for help. I also think that questioning more things I don't understand and then being able to describe it in simplier terms is something I'm going to be working on for the future. Being a conscientious for the future is more about goal setting for me. At the beginning of this porject I hadn't set any goals about what I really wanted to understand more about or when I wanted to be done with my amount of work. For the future I will make sure to talk with my group about what they fully understand, maybe get some explainations from them and then make sure I get it by the end of the project. As well as setting goals for my work load and spreading it out evenly the time that is given to us for the project.
In the end I really enjoyed this project and most of the topics we learned about because they are something that I am intrigued by.
