For this project I worked with Ally Branch, Jack Berry and Alisa Costello. We had a lot of fun with this project and were really happy we were able to actually put up a real swing we could use in front of the stem building. I'd say throughout this project, my group worked really well together. From starting our ideas about where and how we should build a swing to calculating all our data. A few of my peaks I think would really revolve around conscientious learner and character. Throughout this porject my group and I worked through a lot of different mistakes we had to fix in our calculations. Thankfully we left a good amount of time for us to work through it. I think managing my time and work through the whole unit and process was really important to how I was able to get things done. I set goals for what I think I could get done and what I wanted to get done for each chunk of time I had to work, which proved to be very successful. I think alot of this project we hit a few bumps, but having the mindset to work through the problems and critically think through them was super important to me. Overall, I learned a lot more about the unit and was able to learn from different mistakes to be able to persevere through them.
Two aspects of the project I think I can focus on for next unit would be communication and collaboration. Throughout the project I feel like I could have communicated more with my group. I think I could have added more questions into the conversation to help my confusion as some points of the project. I feel like asking my group more questions about my confusion would have helped me understand many of the units' topics and content. For collaboration, I think I could have done more for my group this project. Due to me being confused for small parts of the project, I took more time to understand what were were doing. Which in turn took more time away from me to help different aspects of the porject. I think I got a good amount done for my gorup and helping to finalize our calculationsm but I think adding more and working more would be helpful for me and future groups. Overall, I really enjoyed this project and think it ended up very well and precise.
