For this project, two things I think I did well were organization/quality of work and problem solving. This being our first project I think I did well in terms of trying to understand the engineering methods we would be using thorughout the rest of the year. I was quite proud of how my sketches and flowchart ended up and I think they were done well and clearly. For problem solving, I was able to work around taking aprt my object and figuring out ways to make it work for me. I did end up having to use a hammer to break out the breadboard part of the flashlight. But instead of deciding to not observe this aspect of the object, I worked to try and find a way to open it up. In the end, these allowed me to successful in my work and finished product. I am happy with how my work turned out for this being our first project.
Two things I think I can improve on for the next project are time management and planning. I think when I first when into this project I was a bit confused. Which led me to waste some time in the beginning, when I should've been planning what I need to get done etc. For the next project, being able to focus on one thing at a time, understanding that task fully, and then planning on what I should be getting done by the deadline will be helpful. This will help me not have to ask so many questions and be able to get right to work as soon as possible.
Overall, I am happy with how my work turned out and can't wait to improve thoughout the year on more projects. Hopefully being able to have more peaks and positives for the capstone project!
