I overall think that my partners and I overcame many obstacles to make a very good project for the amount of time that we had. I think that we worked well together although I could have acted like I was the leader of the group at times and maybe I could have listened to some other peoples ideas. I also think that I got distracted sometimes and if I hadn't that may have made it easier for us to finish our project with time to spare. I think that even though we all made some mistakes and had some things that held us back we overcame them to finish our project.
Throughout this project I have also learned a lot of strengths along with some things I needed to work on which I stated above. I learned that I really enjoy building with power tools and creating things out of just normal planks of wood. I also feel that I am very good with my hands whether it's putting something small together or something very large. Another thing I thought I did well was presenting with my team. I feel like we had a lot of great flow going through our presentation; even though there was a bump or two in our project run we persevered through it and made an overall great presentation that was both entertaining and well put together. Both my partners and I seemed to develop a lot of respect for each other and what we bring to the table.
Throughout this project we ran into lots of obstacles along with amazing things that we came up with. We had to struggle with trying to calculate and find the exact weight to make our lever tilt but we could never get it to be exact. For our project we ended up having to push the side of our lever up manually so it would work. One thing that worked really well was the idea we had to make the scissors cut the weight to smash Plankton. At first we weren't sure how to cut the rope but when we figured it out it worked perfectly.
Overall I think that the project came together amazingly. We had some obstacles that we needed to overcome and we did to make our project as good as it could be. This project was both fun and a great learning experience for me to understand the physics behind all of these simple machines.
