This year the St Mikes PTA Summer Fete is transporting you to the seaside for a day of beach inspired games and fun!
Our children will be kept busy all afternoon with several inflatables to enjoy, crafts to make, games to play and changing their look with coloured hair, painted nails and tattoos!
For those looking for a retail hit, be sure to visit our bric-a-brac stall, make Sunday fabulous with some goodies from our home produce stall, spoil the children at our toy stall, stock up on summer reading from the book store, get your gardens ready for summer entertaining with some new plants and update your look with some new clothes from the pre-loved clothing stall and jewellery from the Red Tribe.
To tempt your tastes buds, we have delicious burgers cooked fresh on the BBQ, amazing Asian food to make your tummies sing, the tea pavillon full of delightful offerings, candy floss for the youngsters (or those young at heart..), lunch boxes tailor made for our smaller members of our community, and when something cool is needed, be sure to visit the mocktails and ice-cream stand!
And of course, a day at the seaside is not complete without a donkey ride!!!
One big change for this years fete is the lack of change.... we are going cashless! The fete will be a combination of tokens and tap and go facilities.
To make your day that little bit easier, we are pre-selling tokens. Tokens will also be available to purchase at the fete. Pre-purchased tokens are sold in bags of 5 or 10 (you can buy as many bags as you like) and will be sent home in book bags to day before the fete. ** Please remember to bring them on the day as we are unable to replace forgotten tokens.**
For those children who love to enjoy the inflatables over and over and over again, you can purchase a wrist band which gives unlimited access to the inflatables (excluding the bouncy castle which is for younger children).
Although the fete closes at 4pm, the fun is not over! Join us at the Park Tavern from 8pm for the after party! The ticket price includes a burger and a drink (vegetarian options available) so book the baby sitter and get your party clothes ready!
And in keeping with traditions past, our children will be let loose with three mufti days on the three Fridays before the fete (11th June, 18th June & 25th June). Rather than digging around in the bottom of your bag looking for the sparkle of a gold coin, mufti day payment is available here!
