Mileage update from Sunday 21 March: At the end of week three, the school community has not only made it to the Maasai Academy, but have nearly completed the distance ALL THE WAY BACK to Granville Road, with just 603 miles until we reach the school gates! Monday 15 March: After counting up all the mileage on Strava and Google Docs, we are pretty surprised and delighted to announce that after just two weeks, we have not only completed the distance between St Michael's and the Maasai Academy, but have overshot the distance by over 1700 miles. So - there's only one thing for it. We'll have to turn round and make our way back home to St Michael's again! Well done everyone for such a superb effort! Let's see if we can make it home by 31 March...
It seems that 'S' doesn't merely stand for 'Seymour', but for 'Sporty' as well, as they take the lead again in miles travelled this week.

Thursday 11 March: WOW. The distance covered this week so far is incredible - 1914 miles and we've still got the weekend to get active. In our first week we managed 2098 miles so we are clearly set to beat that in week 2. Thank you to everyone who has signed up this week and helped us get this far! We're currently in Chad, a landlocked country in Africa. We're likely to reach our goal very soon - so we may need to up the challenge somewhat - watch this space!
Sunday 7 March: The St Michael's Community has travelled all the way through France and Spain and is currently crossing the Mediterranean Sea. We've got about 50 miles to go until we reach the coast of Algeria - an entirely new continent!
After just one week the school community has travelled a staggering 2050 miles with an impressive performance by Seymour House!
Well done to those of you who have taken the time to sign up to the Race across the world.. Pushing your fitness levels and raising money for an incredible charity as you go.
This week we will name 'the warm up week'... as I know we ALL have so much more in our locker to give over the next week :)
