St Julian’s is a Candidate School* for the IB Career-related programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that St Julian's believes is important for our students.
The IB CP was specifically developed for students who wish to engage in career-related learning while gaining transferable and lifelong skills in applied knowledge, critical thinking, communication, and cross-cultural engagement. Successful completion of the IB CP will open doors to a wide range of options after school, including university courses.
Students entering the CP at St. Julian’s students will study:

St Julian’s School students are able to choose from a range of IB Diploma course options. They are taught by a qualified, trained and experienced staff.
All St Julian's students may undertake either programme but the school will satisfy itself that the chosen programme will be appropriate to the needs of the student before acceptance.
*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted. For further information about the IB and its programmes, visit www.ibo.org.
A careers guidance programme, a personal student futures' advisor and a tutor and support tutor are used to assist students with career and university counselling and to help with personal, academic and social issues. Various programmes exist to prepare students for university life, including visits by university admissions teams and specialists in other areas.
