Across all units, students develop practical numeracy skills to understand and solve real-world problems in personal, community, vocational and global contexts. Students utilise a variety of technologies to apply the mathematical problem-solving process to real-life settings.
Unit 1 & 2: Building Numeracy for Life and Work
· Develop core mathematical skills to make sense of everyday, community and vocational tasks

Unit 3 & 4: Extending Numeracy Skills
· Strengthen and apply more complex numeracy skills in personal, community and workplace settings.
· Solve problems using a variety of technologies
· Evaluate and justify the use of technologies in different contexts.
