Flagger Certification

Flagger Certification will be moving to the LMS in the coming months.

All employees required to be certified as Flaggers

The purpose of the Flagger Training Program is to provide certification to CDOT employees as well as external contractors, vendors, and partners. Flaggers are the first line of defense between the traveling public and individuals working in work zones; they provide safety to all involved parties.

Training & Certification Instructions

The CDOT Flagger Training Program was updated in June of 2020.  The training video and certification test were combined in order to streamline the training process.
