April 25th & 26th
In honor of Mother’s Day, Little Way Pregnancy Center will be offering a beautiful, grace-filled gift for mothers. Archbishop Shelton will offer a mass for your mother—living or deceased.
It is said that— “The graces acquired by having a Mass said for a special intention are beyond earthly comprehension. The Mass is the greatest prayer and therefore the most powerful means to help others and ourselves gain eternity with him.”
Mother’s Day cards detailing the gift of this special Mass offered by our Archbishop, will be available the weekend of April 25th & 26th weekend in the back of church. All proceeds will benefit the life-saving work of Little Way. Thank you for your support.

Earth Day 2026: No Time for Celebration
April 22 will mark the 57th annual Earth Day, but there’s no time for celebration. The Earth doesn’t need another celebration—it desperately needs help. Another year has gone by since the last Earth Day, and what have we truly done to help the Earth?
We have added another 37 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide to our atmosphere (40% of which will still be here 1,000 years from now!). We’ve dumped 2.5 billion tons of garbage onto our land—into landfills, rivers, oceans, and other places. The environment is changing quickly.
This past March was the warmest our nation has ever experienced: 9.4 degrees above the 20th-century average—the first time any month has exceeded a more than 9-degree increase over the baseline. In addition, the first three months of 2026 were the driest three-month period our nation has ever experienced.
To put it bluntly, we are in trouble, big trouble. As Pope Francis said, we are not hearing “the cry of the Earth.” So this Earth Day, please make a resolution to do more, to become more aware, and to do all you can to help save our planet.
We only have one Earth. We have only a little time left to make a difference. Please do all you can to help—we won’t get another chance. Remember, you do make a difference. Please make it a positive one—beginning now! Thanks, Environmental Ernie

Looking for a fun and meaningful way to help the parish and connect with fellow parishioners? Volunteer to be on the booth captain for Summer Picnic 2026!
This is a great opportunity to gather a group of friends, parents, or classmates and be part of one of the best events of the year. Booth Captains help bring energy and excitement to the picnic while supporting our parish community.
The role is simple! As a Booth Captain, you’ll oversee set-up and take-down for your booth for one evening and coordinate volunteers for each shift. You don’t need to be there the entire night—and if needed, we can even help fill volunteer spots. Most importantly, you’ll help keep the games running smoothly, encourage participation, and create a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Feel free to decorate your booth, spark a little friendly competition, and enjoy the evening!
We are currently in need of Booth Captains for:
Friday: Wallet Booth, Cornhole Toss
Saturday: 4 in a Row, Cartoon Characters, Duck Pond, Ping Pong, Plant Booth, Popcorn, Roll a Score, Tic-Tac-Toe
The Parish Picnic will take place June 19th & 20th from approximately 5:00–11:00 PM (some booths may close earlier).
For more information or to sign up, please contact Lauren Owens at 312-285-6400 or laurenhowens@gmail.com
