2011 - 2012

The Aero Modeling Club was inaugurated on 18^th July 2011, in order to promote the practical knowledge of the students. The guest of honor for this function was Prof. V. Shankaran, Hindustan Institute of Technology, who delivered an informative guest lecture on “Recent Trends in Aerospace Development".

AMC conducted a one day Workshop on “Rubber Band Powered Fixed Wing Glider” on 24^th August 2011. Totally 120 students participated in the workshop with overwhelming interest and built their own model. The logo of Aero Modelling Club was unveiled by our Principal, Dr. R. Radhakrishnan

Aero Modeling Club organized an Airshow in connection with National Level Technical Symposium TREFRAKETEN. RC planes were flown across the College grounds for all to view. The Air Show was launched on 23^rd February 2012 with a total of five RC controlled Aircrafts.
