The Third National Aerospace Conceptual Design Competition (NACDeC – III) was organized by the Aeronautical Society of India – Mumbai Branch. Team “Durdhara 2.0” comprising of IV year BE Aeronautical Engineering students from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore set their sights once again to conquer the Design Challenge. With a participation of 50 and more teams around India, SREC’s team cleared all the rounds conducted throughout the year and reached the finals along side four other premier institutions. The final round was held via online presentation on 12th September 2020 and “Durdhara 2.0” secured a deserved 2nd place in the competition along with a prize money of Rs. 15,000/-. The team members are Laxman B, Bhaatre Vishal S, Naveen Lal, Rishe Aja S A and Sivanamasivayam, mentored by our very capable Mr. R. Sivakumar, AP (Sr.G), Dept. of Aeronautical Engineering.
