Sarah M. has packed her summer chock full of activities!
She's got a road trip in the books. "I’m driving to Iowa with my mom and my brother to visit family. I’m excited to drive through Montana and get to run in new places (I’m a runner hehe). There is a lake that I will go to in Iowa called Lake Okoboji, and it is so fun to swim in and jump off the docks. There isn’t much to do in the outdoors there since it’s mostly corn and soybean fields, but I’m sure I’ll have a good time in new scenery with family I haven’t seen since before covid."
She's also got a good summer job on lock. "I will spend most of my summer working at Idaho Base Camp Mount Adventure Tours! I will be up in the mountains of Idaho hiking, swimming, caving, and rafting. I’m so excited to have the opportunity to work with kids and help them explore the outdoors with them all summer!"
She's most looking forward to "living in a new state for a few months, meeting new people, and exploring areas I have never seen before!"

I haven't done the Rogue Wild and Scenic section for a few years and I can't wait to do such an epic trip again."
She'll be busy at the OP and elsewhere... "I am planning on working at the OP this summer which will be super fun, but I also have plans to do an internship with the Ashland Parks and Rec Commission where I will be helping lead groups of students in restoration projects in Ashland's parks!"

He's got some quality time planned with family. "This July, my mom is coming to visit from Massachusetts and we are in the midst of planning a pretty sick adventure with stand up paddle boards and lots of camping. Willie is going on lots of summer adventures!
He's got a lot planned: "I am thrilled to share our long-awaited three-week journey to Canada! This trip holds a special significance for us, as it marks the revival of our annual pilgrimage that was put on hold for the past three years due to the pandemic.
"Our adventure begins in Squamish, a true haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Our main focus in Squamish will be conquering the impressive granite dome and cliffs through exhilarating climbing sessions. However, there's much more to experience in Squamish. We'll immerse ourselves in the vibrant farmers markets and explore local shops that showcase an array of locally sourced treats. And when the heat of the afternoon hits, we'll take refreshing dips in the pristine lakes and rivers.
"Next, we set our sights on Victoria Island, a destination brimming with natural wonders that none of us have had the opportunity to explore before. Days will be filled with traversing picturesque backroads, uncovering hidden trails leading to secluded beaches and captivating waterfalls.
"As our journey nears its end, we have a highly anticipated treat in store. We will be visiting Do Chay, a restaurant in Victoria that holds a special place in my heart. With its exceptional fusion cuisine and cozy ambiance, it promises to be the perfect finale to our Canadian experience.
"We're eagerly looking forward to creating new memories, embracing the beauty of nature, and savoring the diverse flavors of Canada. This trip holds a significant meaning for us, and we can't wait to embark on this adventure."
