Staff Bios!

As a student I worked for the SOU Outdoor Program until I graduated in 2012. After graduation I worked multiple guiding jobs around the Pacific Northwest. I then worked for an outdoor education company in Australia. While in Australia the professional position of leading the Outdoor Program opened up. I was accepted for the position and have been working for SOU since 2014.

I am a senior Outdoor Program Staff member with passion for rock climbing, hiking, conservation, and environmental ethics. I have worked for three years at the Outdoor Program and I most enjoy my time in the Climbing Center supporting and training with other climbers. I also enjoy spending time planning and facilitating adventure trips. In my non-OP hours of the work day, I like to invest my time in learning about the role of humans within the natural world and spending my time with my partner and pets.

I have blue hair. I'm a Theatre major interested in Scenic Design. Always up for an adventure.

I like to go backpacking and kayaking. I'm an OAL and HPE double major. I love novelty socks, and I think life is more fun when you choose to believe in bigfoot.
