What is it!?
Its the Marmot Angel Fire Sleeping Bag (25F, 650 Fill, Down)
Why is it rad?
I literally want to sleep in it when I'm not camping. It's so squishy and warm.
It's also like when Kevin says in the Office: "I wanted to eat pigs in a blanket, in a blanket" So I want to eat a burrito one day while I am in my sleeping bag since I feel like a burrito.
Found: working an Outdoor Education job in Australia and living in a guide house. Willie found this spoon in the silverware drawer of the guide house where he worked.
What makes this gear unique?
After using this spoon a few times I fell in love. It is thick, heavy, and durable. It can be used hard and keep on scooping. The profile of the spoon head is similar to that of a flat-head shovel you would use to shovel snow. What I mean is this spoon is efficient at moving material. This allows me to quickly consume large portions of food when in the backcountry.
What are they!?
They are the Prana Stretch Zion Pants!
Why are they the best pants on the market?
These Pants are SO dope. They're fully synthetic, a little stretchy, they have buttons that keep the legs rolled up when it's hot, they dry INSANELY FAST, they have a built in belt, and a zipper pocket on the knee where you can store things that you wanna make sure you don't leave behind. They aren't fire resistant at all, though, my pair has a little hole where a spark from a campfire landed on me, but other than that, AWESOME.
What are they!?
They are the Hiking Boots Scarpa Zodiac Plus GTX!
Why are they your favorite?
They are the most waterproof things that I have ever beheld in my life. I never get blisters in them, really. They are just sooooooooo incredibly light. 1 boot is 3 ounces. Orgasmic really.
What is it?
It's a Grigri, Bryan got his at REI, there are two options!
NO, like WHAT is it?
oh...The grigri is a belay device that is easier to use than the standard ATC. It requires less effort in belaying and has a smoother descent for the climber. It has an auto-braking feature that makes it easier to support rests during climbs, and it also allows for solo climbing if you lack a partner. It's basically the climber's best friend.
