Set Different Panopto Folders for Specific Class Zoom Recordings

(Recommended for Instructors)

This feature can be helpful if you teach more than one class and you would like the recordings for your classes to sort into dedicated folders.

  1. In the top right corner, select your name and then User Settings.

  1. Scroll down to Meeting Import Settings. Under Meeting Mapping Source, you will see a chart labeled Meeting ID, Folder Name, and Actions. Select Add New.

  1. Type in your class's Zoom Meeting ID and choose the desired course folder from the drop down options that will appear to the right of the meeting ID.

  2. Select Save under Actions to process your changes.


Change the Default Folder Location for Non-Class Zoom Recordings

By default, your Zoom Recordings go into a Meeting Recordings folder within your Panopto My Folder. You can change the default folder for Zoom Recordings.

  1. In the top right corner, next to your name, select the down arrow and then select User Settings.

  1. Scroll down to Meeting Import Settings and select Edit next to Default Folder.

  1. The dropdown arrow next to Meeting Mapping Source will show you all of your course folders. Select the desired folder.
