Yuja enables users across our organization to share video and video content. The Video platform is an all-in-one video experience to securely create, manage, discover, collaborate, and live stream video content. The Office of Information Technology Media Center maintains and administers YuJa

How To Access YuJa:

Enter my.sjf.edu, click on the launch pad to locate the YuJa application. 

How do I log into YuJa?

The YuJa Video Platform can be accessed directly from sjf.yuja.com using your network credentials (SSO) or from Blackboard 

YuJa Video Platform Overview

An online video application, where users can upload, share, and manage video content.  This provides your students/audience with a powerful tool that can be used for review, to further supplement material covered in class, or to provide instruction that is entirely web-based.  Students have the ability to jump ahead or jump back to particular segments of video content. The recordings/videos can be viewed from any device with an Internet connection via a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).

How to Edit Media within YuJa?

The Video Platform offers fully integrated video editing capabilities that are accessible from Manage Media. Video editing allows Content Creators to create professional and polished media content. The Video Editor is non-destructive, your edited video is saved as a new file, and without damage to the original media.

Sharing media enables Viewers and Content Creators to share content.  Content may be shared from My Media with an individual or group of individuals, either with read-only, edit, or full-access privileges.

Content Creators can make video quizzes using any uploaded video content in their Media Collection.

How to create a Playback Quiz?  Playback Quizzes can be created for any content that Instructors want students to watch for credit. Instructors can select from two Playback assessment options.

How do I change ownership of video content?

If you are a faculty member who is no longer teaching a course(s) and/or leaving the college.  You can request a change in ownership of all or certain video(s) content to another user within YuJa.  

YuJa iOS Mobile Application Overview

Users can access all the published content from their course channels, create and upload mobile recordings, or download and watch their media right through the mobile app.
