YuJa Video

The YuJa Enterprise Video Platform is an all-in-one video experience to securely create, manage, discover, collaborate, and live stream video content.

YuJa allows users to create audio/video content from their computers and upload it to the YuJa Media Manager (online storage). Additionally, the software automatically captions any/all content created.

Getting Started

From my.sjf.edu, within the launch pad click on YuJa icon

Below that and indented back to the left, there is text that reads Shared With Me (with an icon of three circles connected by lines). Below that is a horizontal red line. Below the red line, there is red header text that reads SHARED. Below that, there are four options. They are EnterpriseTube (with a globe icon), Shared Folders (with a building icon), All Channels (with an icon that has a bunch of books), and User Collections (with a person icon). To the right of the navigation pane, there is the main content area. In the top left, there are two red folders. The first has an image of a person on it and text below that says RS Videos. The second has text below that says Default Collection. Below that, there are two rows of thumbnails. The first row has six thumbnails and the second row has two thumbnails. The titles of each read: Learning YuJa 4/19/2; YuJa Demo 4/18/22; QualtricPart_2; [Original Copy]Qualtrics; QualtricsPart_1; Intro; QualtricPart_2; and QualtricsPart_3.

Upload Content

The Upload interface provides a simple way to upload one or more media files, customizing captioning, and publication options in one step.

Click on Upload - Drag & Drop or Browse
Select from Video, Audio, Documents, YouTube videos (Link), Vimeo video and VR videos (VR Video).

Record using Browser Capture

The browser capture studio offers a robust recording option without any additional downloads for users. Ideal for quick recordings/video assignments for those with good internet connections.

From sjf.yuja.com, click Create Recording (top of the screen) and select Record with Browser Capture Studio from the drop down menu
Enter a title for the recording and click on Start to launch

Configure Browser Caption Options:

Screen Record: Choose to record a camera, screen, or both
Audio: Select the audio source
Video Camera: Select the video source

Record Using Your Computer (YuJa Software Capture)

OIT will install the YuJa software on all SJF owned devices. Users can download the software application to their own personal device.

From sjf.yuja.com, click on Create Recording and select Record from you Windows PC or Mac. If software is installed the software will launch.
Enter a title and description for your recording. Example: Lecture1: Introduction
- Select Video Source - Select up to two webcam sources, either external or build-in, for your recording. You can also choose to disable them altogether.
- Select Audio Source - Select up to tow audio sources, either external, built-in, or internal audio source for your recording.
  - Select the Mic Source 2 (Internal Audio) if your video will contain Videos from the Web.
- Screen Source - Select up to two screen sources, either external or built-in.
  - click on Display settings to select displays to capture and click on Save.
- Live - Live Streaming capture, must have selected a Channel via the Share button at top
- Click on Start to begin your capture - you will have three seconds before recording begins.

Users will need at least one valid recording source senabled, either Video, Audio, or Screen in order to start a new recording.

While recording is in session, users can control these two options from the recording toolbar.

Pause/Resume: Pause the recording and resume it later.
Finish: Stop the recording
Switch Displayed Audio Source
Show Animation Tool Bar
Show Preview

The Recording Toolbar provides an easy way to pause or stop the recording from your screen. Ctrl + Shift + F from your keyboard to Stop recording.
