History
In the year 766, Powluj Sordren and a few others left Madroo to find more land to farm. In his travels east along the coast, they did discover an area of fertile soil and upon that soil, ran herds of horses. Excited with their find, the people began to settle. Unfortunately for them, the land in which they deemed perfect for settling also was the roaming grounds of a clan of barbarians.
Fortunately for them, they were well trained in militia as they had several skirmishes with the clan of barbarians known as the Clan of Claw. After months of fighting, the townsfolk eventually were able to push the barbarians back with the help of Lord Madroo’s troops from Madroo. With the death of their chieftain, the Clan of the Claw retreated into the plains. However, Powluj Sordren died in the battle and the people named the village in his honor.
After the barbarians were driven back, the people began settling peacefully. Once they had their buildings set-up and their militia in place, the few remaining barbarians who dare attack the settlement were easily pushed back.
The farms flourished and the horses were herded and then eventually bred, as the small hamlet grew and grew. Trading with its mother town of Madroo, the dwarven Clan Ironhammer, and the vineyards of Rantor, the village is growing nicely.
