Game Session 3/30/15 - In the Dark
With the upcoming Festival, Corliana wanted to make sure she was able to break ground on her temple to Relunar. Worried of the dark dwarves below, the group decide to eliminate them and claim the island as their own - cleared of all evil. After dodging, and not dodging some traps, the group encountered a bunked in barracks of Duergar and Drow. A greater sense of evil emanated from the drow as an anti-paladin led a drow contingent of House Delenrae. After a heated fight, the heroes overcame their foes and purged the island. They did, however, discover a corridor leading deeper into the earth. They blocked the entrance and wait til another day to venture deep underground.
Meanwhile, at night, their minds have been assaulted by Zenichron, the semi-insane gnome artificer. Fortunately, the heroes will has been strong, and the nightmares have not diminished their constitution or resolve. Something must be done.
Game Session 3/16/15 - Into the Woods
As the Brazen Thicket loomed in front of our heroes, Nogilia felt unnerved at this once lush forest of light now has taken on a darker demeanor. Before meandering under the boughs of the dark wood, the group of adventurers are warned by a raven that to enter the wood would be their death. An arrow later, the harbinger of woe was a pile of feathers upon the path into the wood, quick to be consumed by the leaf-strewn path itself. As the Champions of the Starry Isle advanced, they found themselves in a maze of strong trees and wildlife. Upon attempting further divination into the wood, the party is set upon by the trees and vegetation. Vines slap and entwine any spellcaster wielding magic in the wood. Not adhering to the warning of the semi-mechanical bird, the group finds themselves set upon by beasts of enormous size and ferocity, bulettes. After dispatching these ferocious beasts marked with the symbol of Brazen, God of Death, the group continues forth and discovers a clearing with a mechanical tower guarded by clockwork soldiers - the home of Zenichron. After surviving a blast furnace-like trap, the group was on the verge of making a deal with the eccentric gnome, when Corliana mentions the existence of Brigit. The mention of that name caused the diminutive gnome to become incensed and the clockwork he was seated upon opened upon the party with death-dealing ferocity. The party barely escapes with their lives. Regrouping, they plan to head back toward the Brazen Thicket, a little wiser than the last they entered the darkwood.
Game Session 3/02/15 - Reap What You Sow
Leaving the island to complete some recon for the Ebon Flame before delving into the Underdark, the Champions of the Starry Isle discover a small fishing town changed to an undead sanctuary, passing on a tribe of orcs, temporarily. After observing the motions of the town from afar and with magical eyes, they pinpoint the center of the undead activity was located in a church of Aluhs. Inside, after Avergore opens a new hole in the rear wall, the group is surprised to not only see a cleric of Brazen, two hill giant zombies, and a slew of undead, but also the presence of Isilidora Gren chained to the cleric. Carefully, the group uses pinpoint accuracy to dispatch the hordes of undead and young cultists, and even survive a surprise entrance of a necromancer hidden among the undead.
After downing the cleric, the followers of Brazen escape via teleportation, but are unable to take their quarry, Isilidora. Clearing the remaining of the undead was not an an issue, but finding am altar dedicated to evil in what was once a town hall, the party used their resources to eliminate it. In the midst of the evil lair, they discover a tome, "The Tome of Eternal Life." In the tome, writings of experiments on humans and other creatures are described, along with the names Bitpudo and Preddika. Mention of the goal to gain a dragon to experiment within was of utmost importance. A complete search of the town revealed several buildings to the southeast destroyed by acid.
Just before heading further southeast toward the Brazen Thicket, the party decides to lure the orc tribe toward the abandoned village by blowing a tribal horn and into the clutches of what they believe is a dragon. After a short while and returned horn blows, the party discover they are being followed by an orc party or three. The orcs began to gain upon them and the group realized that among their ranks were a pair of savage beasts that they heard rumors of, Elf Reapers. Unable to outrun the orcs and the massive Elf Reapers, the party found themselves in a fight to the death. The Elf Reapers, confident they would have no issues with the band of heroes when going to claim the elf archer's head to add to one of their belts, ran into more than expected. In a melee that was unheralded, the Champions of the Starry Isle emerged triumphant after depleting their stores and supplies. They rest up, and then plan to delve into the Brazen Thicket.
Game Session 2/16/15 - Fantasy Island
With the frozen lands keeping trade and travel inland long and treacherous, the Champions of the Starry Isle, decide to head to the Isle, newly named Laurren, to begin clean-up and establishment of a stronghold. Upon teleporting into the forge, the party is surprised to see that their stronghold is infested with goblins and bugbears. However, using very few resources, the goblinoids were easily exterminated and the clean-up began. Seeking the the star orchid flower for Hezlish Pumblebelly, the heroes encounter a fae woman, Medulla, short for Medaliana. Her linkage to a very strong oak tree, named Mevvterith, and her botanical skills has produced the right soil for the star orchids to blossom in her clearing under the star-filled sky, the only time the flowers open. Upon befriending the lovely dryad, and after a lenghty high-speed conversation about the great goddess, Relunar, a deal was struck to be able to harvest the star orchids carefully in exchange for some Pumblebelly muffins.
Further scouring the island to rid it of harmful beings, the group encountered a woman dangling between the rock formation to the northwest of the island. Corliana strode upon the wind and pulled her down. Brigit, as she called herself, recalled being in the service of a gnome by the name of Zenichron. She was working with him and his clockwork creations and then one day she lost what happened and found herself strung up awaiting, what she found from the group, to be a meal to a giant turtle. Fortunately, the turtle had not appeared. After following the group around the remainder of the island, including the slaying of an enormous boar in one fell blow by Avergore, she took a liking to the thoughts and ideals of Davian.
When the party returned to Hezlish with word of their success at recovering some star orchids, they struck a bargain with the halfling baker to supply her with the flowers in exchange for some of the muffins. Pumblebelly readily agreed as she was excited to get back to the oven.
Game Session 2/2/15 - Knight of Diamonds
Slipping the platinum key into the door, revealed a briny set of corridors behind. The adventurers discover several waterways and underwater rooms. Shark-infested, cold and salty, the water held the heroes at bay. A few spells slew the sharks, but with the death of each shark, the water in the tomb rose higher. After a quick scouting by the stealthy elf, the adventures dipped into the calm, cold waters. The sight of a large blue shark wasn't a deterrent, until it transformed into a water elemental. Avergore, at the head, took the brunt of the vicious attacks of the elder water elemental, and after a struggle, the elemental was defeated as it dispersed into the salty water. The heroes discovered the platinum medallion key to the northern doorway.
Before they venture into what they hoped was the last section of the tomb, Corliana invites them all to take part in the Ritual of Stardust which occurs on the first of Reluna. The ritual goes off in splendid fashion in the clearing under the bright moon and stars. Corliana feels infused with her goddess's power and confident that within her blood and soul, resides the favor of Relunar. Bellies full of halfling fare, the adventurers head into the tomb again to, hopefully, find what was protected by all the guardians within.
Upon opening the door, the group sees a hallway with statues on either side of the elf that is being honored by this structure. Within each statue's grasp was a magical blade they soon discovered were the keys to open the door at the end of the hall. Upon inserting the keys, the door swung open and immediately, the soft angelic sound of music emanates from the room. At the north end is a sight to see. Behind a wall of celestial force is a creature of utmost evil. Her six muscled arms rippled when she flexed, but her attention was not on the party who just gained entrance, but upon a beautiful woman playing a flute within a case of crystal. The sounds of the flute kept the marilith, a demon from the pits of the abyss, occupied. The heroes quickly figured the way to take down the wall of power and engaged the demon. After a long, hard-fought battle, the demon is vanquished after almost slaying the brave Steel Drake, Erik. The heroes set the angelic bard free.
Niramour, the bard, spoke of the tomb as being there to house one of the greatest elven warriors of all time, Erentril Re'Etheren, a Prince of the Elven kingdom, Erenenlea. He belonged to an elite Elven Knight Company known as the Knights of Diamonds in charge of protecting the Royal Court. The knight gave his life along with the magic of Niramour to contain the demon within his tomb. Now that Niramour has had her duty alleviated, she has taken quite an interest in Corliana and the mystic ways around her.
Upon returning to Woodwind Pass, the heroes find that it has been plagued by thefts. Worry that ring of thieves has the town nervous. However, the town's fears were abated after the heros arrived and the thefts ceased. Davian, seeking to further his powers, inquires about an elven archer he encountered at the Festival of Flowing Waters in Blackwood Springs. He meets Estennirial and learns that she does belong to small band known as Astalderea, elven for Valiant Ones, skilled archers who have mixed arcana into their prowess. He is awaiting to hear back about membership.
While in town, the party is approached by a messenger from Ekire, the merchant. He is offering to trade items of great power in exchange for a diamond the group has recovered from the tomb of Erentril. Tempted by the power of the artifacts, the divine guidance of Relunar has them reconsidering their prospects as they hold onto the gemstone.
To the south of Blackwood Springs, the attentions of the group now travels. Nogilia has been commissioned by the Ebon Flame to seek out the disturbance of undead that has been reported. Restocking their suppllies, the group plans to head there once a brief respite has been had.

Game Session 1/19/15 - Tomb Loc
After resting a month or so to rest and recuperate as well as craft items of use and desire, our heroes decide to investigate the statue that has been a relic of mystery in the Starla forest. Before heading out, inquiries into the origin of the tattooed victims ran into false fronts and clueless sighs. A patient annoyance, Nogilia, pursued questioning with the mayor, Postill Antinnish. Finally, after several meetings with the famed elf present, Antinnish finally revealed all he knew about the victims. Apparently, a devilish type of man visited the town roughly 18 years prior and visited several ladies in the night. Some of these ladies were betrothed already, but not all. Explanations as to the sudden birth of 9 babies in the same time span, was hushed by the townsfolk. Nothing came of it until recently, when the tattooed babies, now adults, began disappearing and ending up dead, victims of rituals.
With a little more of a finished puzzle, the adventurers find a scout that will lead them into the Starla Forest. Took Redbeard, a very talkative halfling, after several nights of merriment with Nogilia, leads them deep into the Starla Forest. After two days of trudging through soft-fallen snow, they stumbled upon a clearing with the metallic statue, sword raised to the sky. Further inspection reveals a decomposed body of a halfling cleaved in twain, and when the party moved a stone slab, the statue animated with a breath of poison gas. A hard fought battle led to the defeat of the iron golem.
Venturing into the tunnel, traps were set off, darkness penetrated and a tomb was breached. Henry Jekyll decided to venture into a room without warning and moments later, his unconscious body lay upon the colored tiles, and 2 greater air elementals assaulted the party. After several trial and error runs and several cuts and bruises, the band of adventurers figured out the Room of Hues and recover a crown with three diamonds. The crown was used to open the door to the east which opened into a large vaulted chamber with angels in the corners emitting a heavenly light to the heavens and a diminutive creature encased in crystal.
Using the diamonds from the crown, the adventurers were able to get the angels reflected light to shatter the crystal and free the creature. In a blink of an eye, the creature moved impossible quick and was seeking escape while harrying the party with thrusting jabs of poison. In the quickling's possession was a key and the party parlayed with Quippethell and exchanged the key for his freedom. Within a heartbeat, the key was in the party's possession and the Quippethell was out of the tomb. Two doors remain to be explored and our heroes prepare to go south.
Game Session 1/12/15 - Spitting in the Eye
Hastily traveling to Woodwind Pass, the heroes arrive on the day the sacrificial service is expected. The sleepy little town little expected any sort of issue and when the group visits the Stones of Alarant, they meet Gennis of Alarant, the druid of Northwood and keeper of the Stones of Alarant. Communing with Relunar, Corliana discovers that not only the holy site to Alarant is suitable for the sacrifice, but also the small shrine to Taris amidst the Weeping Willows could suffice for the Eye's sacrifice. The group looks to keep the assault more quiet as they try not to cause alarm, but do look for assistance where they can find it.
In town, a dwarf adorned in black, named Blackaxe, offered his axe in aid of the onslaught that was about to fall upon the holy site of Alarant. Welcoming the burly dwarf, the band of heroes set to the task of thwarting the sacrifice. Prepared for the assault, the heroes were slightly surprised when a strong force of invisible orcs surged into the stones, 26 ticks from midnight. A few tossed balls of acid and power scattered the orcs and the real battle was on with the servants of the Eye trying to dislodge the heroes from their roost of protection. Oracle-induced fire walls blazing, balls of acid melting, elementals, devils and villains dying, the brave adventurers held strong, but no sight of the sacrifice was evident.
A sudden feeling of urgency to cover both altars split the group in twain as half sprinted to the Weeping Willows. Moments before the midnight hour, The Stones were struck. Seemingly heavily weakened and in desperation, the Cult of the Eye again assaulted the stones. Fire was flung, but little harm was caused by the cultists as the last erinyes attempted to bury a sacrificial dagger in the tattooed sacrifice. With the power of Dragar flowing through his veins, Avergore wrested the sacrifice from the erinyes' grasp as Nogilia ended the horned creature's stay in Woodwind Pass with a spray of arrows piercing its spine. The remaining cultists perished quickly afterward and the ritual of sacrifice was prevented.
Despite the intense magic used at the Stones, the site was left relatively unblemished. A fatigued druidess reassured her god that the grove surrounding the site would be replenished as townsfolk meandered to the locale and the lightshow that just ended. Millella Itolis, happy she was saved, thanked the heroes and the heroes spent the rest of the night describing the attack to Postill Antinnish, the mayor. and mending their torn flesh and celebrating their latest victory over the Eye.
- With the success of his strong-brewed spirit, Korenson's Swill, and an influx of many so-called adventurers coming to his tavern, The Giant's Head, to sell monster heads, Devik decides to take some time and enjoy the fruits of his adventuring days. He can be found tending bar or swilling it up with patrons in his tavern in Aluhs. He is inquiring about the whereabouts of his brother, Coris, as he has not been seen for many moons.
- Darilith, aka Fezgar, rejoices as Clarissa, his private potion brewer, came up with a way to remove the infernal tattoo from his body. With some coin tossed in the direction of Heven St. Rossen, a travelling bard, the saintly singer now dons the tattoo she can sing about in many tavern and inn along her travels. Darilith anxiety-free from not battling invisible assailants has decided to settle down and manage the shops he has built and live a happy life playing chess with Bill and frequenting the Giant's Head and enjoy Korenson's Swill with Devik. He does wonder about his past, but looks much more toward his future as Aluhs's growth and hospitality suits him just fine.
- Jeffer sells items from the party store... party gains 18,634 gp
Game Session 1/5/15 - Side Mission - Observatory Observations
After haggling with a crotchety old jeweler, Davian beamed with pride as he was able to walk out with a new bauble that would adorn his finger - a Ring of Evasion. Although his pockets have been relieved of plenty of gold, he felt good with leaving the jewelry shop with a 10% discount.
While Nogilia courted Blackwood Springs for the permits to open an academy, Devik tended to his bar, and Fezgar to attend to his various shops and the throng of followers that arrived at his door to offer assistance, Corliana and Davian decide to investigate an island off the shore for a location of an observatory and a proper place of worship to Relunar, Goddess of the Moon and Night.
The diminutive pair prepared to set off and Nimbus, after taking a break from crafting items of magic, decided to tag along to explore the world and again head out on the open water where he felt safe and secure. After haggling and gaining the employ of the Sea Strider captained by a shrewd sort, Jorrissa Faretelk, the small company embarked on their journey. The sea salt sprayed the hull and the crisp air of the Harven wind nipped at the faces of the adventurers as they pulled out of port with whistling sailors in the rigging and a stern captain barking orders.
Upon the sleek and swift Sea Strider, the trio made company with a pair of other travelers, coincidentally heading in the same direction. Huddled in the middle of the vessel far from the pitching rails to port and starboard was a stout dwarf. His blonde hair that denied being frozen from the sea spray reached the middle of his back and his belly. His iron-wrought muscles and calloused hands explained his battle experience and the flaming axe medallion swaying with the crash of each wave belied his devoutness to the god of war, Dragar. After friendly conversation, his goal was metal seeking on the island they were heading. Dwarven metal was rare, and he intended to get his hands on some.
At the prow of the Sea Strider, was a tall figure wrapped in a cloak made of white wolf fur. Auburn locks flitted around her cowl as she stood eyes focused on the future - her past in the wake that followed the sleek ship. Not enough boat could distance her from the flaxen-haired dwarf and her knuckles grew white on the hilt of her blades each time the dwarf spoke, but stoic she remained looking ahead as the island came into view. It took two days to soften up the Winter Wolf, but eventually she revealed her desire. She came to this island to fulfill a rite of passage. She needed to avenge her family in her mind with the destruction of a smithy, a giant of fire, dwarf of the giants, crafter of evil.
By the time the boat anchored off shore, this motley crew agreed to adventure together. Aboard a dinghy, the five headed toward a cave cut into the side of the island in hopes it led to the center, a lone mountain standing high above the others. The water cut deep into the island and soon they found themselves deep under the island. In the tunnels flooded with water of brine, the group discovered a crack to the Underdark and encountered dark dwarves, the duergar, slaves to an even darker menace, dark elves. Without delving deeper, the landlubbers felt more comfort as they returned to the open sea and landed upon a sandy beach.
Exploration discovered a band of bugbears led by an enormous bugbear with the strength of ten. These bugbears paid homage to a fire giant smith that provided them with forged weapons of high quality. After slaying the bugbears and releasing their goblin captives, the group headed to the mountain to handle the fire giant. Dispatching the giant’s hounds of hell, the group encountered two suits of armor that seem to move on their own. After dispatching these deadly “cloclworks” as they called them, they discovered they may have been created by a “Zenichron” as the name was engraved into the clockwork’s metal.
Catching the fire giant in the midst of forging a metal blade with his mate, the heroes snuffed out his life fire quicker than an ember dropped in water. The giant’s forge was made in the center of an active volcano with molten rock along its perimeter. The heroes claimed two treasures of interest, a statue of a dragon atop a mountain made of platinum and a block of sylvan steel.
With the upcoming sacrifice in Woodwind Pass to intercept, the group of adventurers ventured off to return to save the life of an innocent, but vow to come back later and claim this island as their own.
Game Session 12/29/14
Delving further into the slaughtered stronghold of Clan Firehammer, our heroes encountered a most hellish battle with two of the 9 Layers of Hell's most dangerous denizens, barbed devils. These two deadly devils were pressing a dwarf with one hand that had been removed, but replaced with a enchanted hammer into forging a weapon made of mithril. After a hellish fight and almost the deaths of a couple party members, the beasts from the 9 hells were vanquished.
An appreciative, but distraught weaponsmith, Rogi Firehammer, offered his smithing abilities to the party with the molten mithril that was already within the fires of the furnaces of Clan Firehammer. This help came with the stipulation that the band of heroes find and return his wife, Bellia, and daughter, Branwen. While the elf shadow walker, Nogilia, explored the halls of the fallen stronghold, Devik was enscripted by Rogi to help with the forging of a morningstar for Corliana due to the loss of Rogi's hammer hand. Under the tutelage of this knowledgeable dwarf and what appears to have been divine intervention from his deity, Styrden, the god of Strength and the Forge, Devik's ability to hammer out weapons showed remarkable improvement.
The band of heroes all combined their magic talents together with the high priest of Styrden, To the surprise of Rogi, the party had in its possession 4 black diamonds of remarkable quality that would be able to be infused into the morningstar and enhance its power. Darilith, Nimbus, and Corliana all focused their magical energies as Devik's hammerblows struck the red hot mithril. With each adornment of black diamond and magical prayers spoken to the God of the Forge, the morningstar's power grew. After an hour or intense prayer, concentration, and magical energies, Corliana held in her hand a weapon of extreme power. This holy weapon would help smite her enemies especially those of a dark heart. It crackles with energy as an array of small lightning forks across the spiked ball between the black diamonds.
Upon completion of the morningstar, Rogi, exhausted, awaited word of his family. Devik with his newfound skills began to hammer out arrowheads with the remaining melted mithril. The power of creation still crackled in the air, and Devik was able to produce exquisite arrow heads, some with the ability to smite devils. Nogilia returned with dark news for Rogi about the deaths of his beloved. Without word and expressionless, Rogi lifted the crackling weapon of power and walked into one of the forges calling out both in complete desolation and fury. A brilliant flash of divine energy descended upon his form and disappeared as quickly as it arrived and left the morningstar on the ground just outside the fires of the forge where Rogi had entered. Corliana lifted her new crackling weapon and could feel a presence within the morningstar which has named itself "Firehammer."
Recuperated from the battle with the barbed devils and the experience of the deaths of Rogi and his family, the adventurers continued their search for Doow. Taunted by magical voices as they approached the grand audience hall of Clan Firehammer, the party readied themselves for what they knew would be a grand battle and hopefully, an end to the one who had slain their fellow adventurer. Upon opening the doors to the grand chamber, the group was met with a very challenging situation.
Doow seemed to have grown in power as he lounged on the throne of the dwarven clan leader. To his left was an infernal equine of extreme size and power. Fire danced along its mane and hooves, ash billowed from its mouth and nostrils and red fury filled its eyes. To his right was an erinyes, the same elusive devil that our heroes have encountered and have yet to ensnare to her death. In front of the dark ranger was a line of bearded devils and orc archers.
Without regard to his own safety, Devik looked to end this confrontation in one blow. Using his acrobatic moves and swallowing a vial that permitted him to fly, he landed surprisingly in front of the relaxed ranger and was able to almost end the ranger's life in one slash of his greatsword - almost. The move, as brave as it was, placed the fighter in a precarious position as the rest of the party looked to assist. The battle commenced as blades danced, arrows flew and magic flashed. Emotions overcame the party as tactics seemed to have left them without reason.
Darilith was the target of all and finally, after orc arrows, a flaming orb, and devil blades flashed, he was knocked to the ground, unconscious, but life's breath still filled his chest, although it was waning. Nogilia let loose arrow after arrow. Her missiles of light struck devil after devil as she stood guard near the hurt summoner. Davian and Corliana took to the right and assisted Devik as best they could. The halfling's mighty arrows, wrought by Devik, almost felled the elusive erinyes in one volley. Nimbus's lightning and acid filled the audience chamber as orc and devil felt the power of his magic.
Devik had moved away from the throne to a more strategic position and found himself blade dancing against the lightning-quick ranger and a half-orc fighter brandishing a greataxe. Exchange of wounds was equal as the fighter and the ranger assaulted each other with powerful slices, parries and deft feints. Both on the verge of collapse, Doow withdrew from combat and joined the erinyes with a look of hatred on his face. With a whistle, he, the erinyes, and the dark steed that was seeking Nimbus's death exited the scene - lives hanging by a thread that a gnome boy's marble could have cut.
Finishing off the remaining orcs and a pesky rogue was no problem for the heroes as they recuperated and collected. Stabilizing Darilith and bringing him back to consciousness, the party rested the day to gather their wits, their health, and some treasure. On their way back to Trall, they encountered Gimafor again and informed him of the fate of Clan Firehammer. They shared a campfire again, some of Korenson's Swill, and parted ways.
Upon reaching Trall, they rested and headed back to Aluhs. Upon the road back to Aluhs, Darilith was approached by a large band of people looking for him to pay homage. One comely woman, by the name of Clarissa, with a sparkle in her eye, informed him that there was a way to remove the tattoo from his body, but it would have to be transferred to another. It would involve magic, but she knew someone with the ability to do so, but would cost much gold.
With twenty days left before they need to be in Woodwind Pass to stop the next sacrifice, the adventurers can finally catch their breath and enjoy some downtime as they contemplate their next moves and absorb what had just happened.

Game Session 12/15/14
After the attempt to stop a sacrifice of "The Eye," the heroes decide to venture into the Spire Peaks in search of the cause of infernal happenings. Selete, priestess of Aluhs, has decided to stay behind to help with the rebuilding of the mining town of Trall and cope with the loss of the many valiant Tears who sacrificed their lives to help thwart the evil rituals of "The Eye." The Gold Tear, Vellros of Aluhs, has sent word back to the capital with the happenings that have occurred. With the loss of a good portion of the elite guard, Trall is vulnerable and he and all that can help hold the minting mine of Aluhs shall remain vigilant.
On their way to find the source of the infernal sites, the band of heroes encountered a small dwarven war party led by Gimafor Drunakal of Clan Drunakal. Drunakal informed the heroes that the Spire Peaks main force of control is enforced by a council of dwarven clan leaders of the area. Clan Firehammer has not attended a council meeting for the last few months. It is of concern as Clan Firehammer was responsible for the defense of northeast of the Spire Peaks. More creatures have been roaming within the Spire Peaks and it is believed that something may have happened to Clan Firehammer. All contacts sent to the Clan Firehammer have not been heard from.
After sharing an eating fire and some of Korenson's Swill, as the dwarves now call it, the band of heroes headed northeast to Clan Firehammer's stronghold. Stumbling upon massive tracks of humanoid creation, the party discovered a small band of Stone Giants heading in the same direction as they. Using superb tactics and prowess in fighting, the massively muscled giants fell as quickly as the lifespan of a Pumblebelly muffin in a halfling domicile.
Upon arriving at the fortified stronghold of Clan Firehammer, the adventurers discovered that this indeed was the site of something sinister. Upon entering, the party was greeted by an orc who seemed to know them and again asked Fezgar, whose name was revealed as Darilith, to join them for ultimate power. Devik, tired of the rambling of the orc, separated orc torso from waist and the party tarried forth. Stepping into the stronghold, the party was harried by a pack of hellhounds and a mage of some strength who riddled the party with lightning and fire before exiting the battle after the party cut down the infernal hounds.
Further investigation revealed that the Firehammer dwarves were no longer. All that remained were their zombified animations created by hideous beasts known as mohrgs. An even more gruesome discovery awaited the band of the brave as the bodiless head of their former adventuring companion, Lavissa of Fineral, was found upon a spike.. wearing a gold crown that had once been pilfered by another group member. Somewhere within these halls, Doow Elyk seems to have a foothold and he is taunting Fezgar to dare enter what would be his certain demise since he refused to join.
