Population by Sestiere

Huzzah! The Comune di Venezia database has allowed for a more detailed look into the population of the Inner City Islands. One can now find data so specific that it can be viewed on a street-by-street basis. This would be very tedious to analyze individually, and so would the next level up: population data by census tract. While this will eventually become useful, for right now analyzing data by sestiere is the most useful in getting a general idea of population by location. Included is an infographic that shows population by sex by sestiere, created using data from the aforementioned database. Hopefully in the future we will find tools that help us make tables of data on the census tract level, as one of the end goals of our project is to catalog population data per island.
