Stevensville RD + Sula RD - bases at Williams Mtn + Deer Mtn + Sula

BRF 1 repeaters are at Lookout and Sport - input is 165.225


BRF 1 was previously 168.75 R with 168.15 input - changed in 2017 or 2018 maybe


BRF 2 repeaters are at Teepee + Ward - input is 163.4625


The Hells Half repeater is a stand alone repeater with its own freq

pair - 169.975 R with 164.15 input - this is in the West Fork RD


Common 1 is 163.7125 - can be used as a fire tac if tac 3 and tac 4 are busy


Common 2 is 168.6125 - used by roads and recreation crews


Work Channel is 169.175 - (not sure what this is used for)


Air to Ground 52 is primary - 168.3875


Air to Ground 53 is secondary - 168.4875 - AG53 is only used if AG52 is busy


all simplex channels are PL 0.0 except as noted - all repeater TX PL 0.0


Teepee Rptr serves the Sula RD


Ward Rptr serves the west side canyons


Lookout Rptr serves the West Fork RD


Sport Rptr serves the Selway Wilderness


Tac 3 - north - 166.55


Tac 4 - south - 166.9875


Tac 3 and Tac 4 are only used for fire and project work


Region 1 Tac - 167.1125 - used in all Region 1 National Forests (all

in MT iirc) - probably for fires only

basically it is a pretty simple system - home channels are 1 and 2 -

if out of range of a dispatcher, try a repeater - for onscene comms,

use the tac channels or common or work channels - if out of range of

another field unit, try a direct channel or a repeater channel
