as you can see - trauma is number 1

But cancer is a close second (presumably because it kills a very large number of people - even if they are in their later years)

Perinatal period (5 months before birth to 2 months afetr birth approx) - that is a very large number presumably due to the very young age of the victims

I have a interesting question for you - if homicide is only 5% of this number, why are there so many murders shown on TV and in the movies? You would think there would be a million trauma shows and movies. And a million cancer shows also. But there is no such thing as a trauma show nor a cancer show nor a heart attack show. ??????????
