Statewide TRS

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=100 This is a listing of all the talkgroups on the Michigan statewide trunked radio system. I made note of all of the encrypted talkgroups. It is a somewhat interesting list. Generally speaking, the only encrypted talkgroups are the narcotics, SWAT, and CID talkgroups used by police agencies. (I am not sure how many local police and fire units are actually operating on this TRS - maybe 50% of the state - maybe less - each county seems to have at least 1 police talkgroup - maybe that is a patch to their VHF or UHF systems - the more urban counties seem to make heavy use of the system Some countys dont have a narco channel listed Some narco Tgs are not encrypted - same goes for CID and dicks and SRT etc - but usually they are ==================================== Encrypted talkgroups - State ESU Ch 1 - but not ESU Ch 2 State ESU Training 1 - but not State ESU Training 2 State Narcotics (narco) TGs Governors Security 2 - but not Gov Security 1 MSP CID TGs Fugitive Team Ch 1 - but not Fugitive Team Ch 3 Auto Theft TGs Radio techs TGs Gaming CID TGs Schoolcroft College PD TGs ATF but not Border Patrol DOHS but not Postal Inspectors International Transmission Company - ??? - pipeline - electrical ?
