Zerg90 maps
Zerg90 maps focus on public safety facilities. Many fire stations are shown. Police stations, ambulance stations, public works garages, etc are being added.
Zerg90 maps typically use the native Google Map markers (which are supplied by Google Inc) - plus additional Zerg90 markers that display additional information that has been discovered via searching the Internet etc. Because - Google Maps does not know everything. Yet.
Most Zerg90 maps cover one county or one agency. The maps are constantly being updated. Continuously even. Continually also. (???)
How do you use Zerg90 maps? Select a county of interest. Read the information in the index section. Select a map layer (if applicable). Mouse over a map marker, For more info - click on View In Google Maps. Mouse over the photo in the upper left to go to photos or to go to street view (which has a small 'curved arrow' in the lower corner). (The 'street view' can also be reached by dragging the little gold pegman in the lower right corner onto the map). At 'street view' - the view can be panned and zoomed and moved about. The little map box (at the lower edge in the middle) will take you to Google Satellite View or Aerial View.
The goal of the Zerg90 maps is to show the exact location of each facility - and to provide any additional info that can be discovered. Such as phone numbers and radio channels and staffing and budget info - etc.
(Please note that - sometimes google does not place the marker at exactly the right location even if the address is exactly correct - sometimes google seems to change the addresses slightly - sometimes there are 2 markers with the exact same address but at wildly different location - see Wells VT for example - circa 2019)

BB = brush breaker = a brush truck with big steel bars around the front
BC = battalion chief
Bearcat = a SWAT truck or a brand of police scanner

BLM = Bureau of Land Management - (they provide wildfire management for the plains of the western USA)

Br = brush truck - usually has 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive

Division Chief - 2nd definition - a position in the ICS command structure - both structural and wildland

DPS = department of public safety = usually a college police department - sometimes a combined police/fire agency
DPW = department of public works = service department = highway department
DTG = digital talk group on a TRS

ECC = emergency communications center = (Cal Fire's name for their dispatch centers)
EMA = emergency management agency = civil defense - people who plan for large scale disasters
EMT = emergency medical technician - has 100 hours of first aid training
EPA FRS = Environmental Protection Agency Facility Registry System = good source of info about sites that have gasoline pumps and hazardous material
ERT = emergency response team = industrial fire or rescue brigade - usually staffed by oncall workers
ESU = emergency services unit = NYC area police rescue/swat squad
FAST = first aid squad team or whatever - name for QRU teams in Dartmouth NH area
FAST = 2nd definition - firefighter assist safety team or whatever - squad of firefighters tasked with rescuing trapped firefighters
FCO = fire control officer - BLM name for a FMO
FD = fire department = an agency / an organization
FEMA - Federal Emergency Management Agency - they do planning for nationwide disasters ish
FF = fire fighter = a person
FFS = forest fire station - term used by Cal Fire and USFS
FO = field office - BLM name for a Ranger District

FMO = fire management officer - ranking officer in federal wildfire agencys
FPD = fire protection district = a FD that sets its own budget and tax rate
FT = full time = career = someone who works 32 or more hours per week

FWS = US Fish and Wildlife Service - they run the National Wildlife Reserves - part of the Department of Interior
GACC = geographical area coordination center - a multi or partial state wide dispatch center for the federal wildfire agencies

Guard Station = older term for a remote USFS fire station
Haz Mat = hazardous material
HEAR = Hospital Emergency Ambulance Radio = 155.34 - "nationwide" radio channel for ambulance to hospital communications

Hosp = hospital
HQ = headquarters = the building where the chief has his/her office
HTL = home town locator dot com = a website with detailed information about public safety facility locations

MCP = mobile command post - the zerg90 terminology for any motor vehicle that is outfitted with a boatlaod of radios

Medic = an ambulance staffed by medics - medics are EMTs who haved approx 1,000 hours of medical training

Unit = general term - could be a Lousiville ambulance or a Kansas pumper etc
USAR = urban search and rescue = large rescue truck with large rescue tools - a southern California term
USAR - 2nd definition - the FEMA nationwide temas that respond to earhquakes etc

USFS = United States Forest Service - USFS provides wildfire management for the National Forests
