Regarding the drama CD: There might not be a point in me translating this drama cd. It's exactly the same as the Bakatsuki light novel translation efforts currently underway. Beyond a few extra bits and pieces, nothing has changed at all. Hell, the dialogue is exactly the same! Might abandon this.

Track 1:
Storyteller: Oh, excellent job reaching this place, Young One. This is the Exterior Library where the knowledge of the entire world is gathered. Others call it the ‘Akashic Record’. Let’s see, you must have come here to hear an interesting story from me, right? Oops, forgot to introduce myself (Note: bad translation, can’t understand). I am the ‘Storyteller’, who recites those great tales you seek. Well then, here’s my box. Humanity is scattered amongst innumerable worlds like uncountable stars (note: bad translation), this story is about two white giant trees (alt trans: two white giants) who grew to cover the heavens… Hm? Something else? But this is a pretty interesting story I’ll have you know. The rival’s this mask wearing man who… Huh? Really? Hmph, too bad. Then what kind of story do you want to hear? Oh ho? A reasonable, yet unreasonable; heartfelt (?fiery) yet still cute/fascinating (note: bad translation); wondrous and awe-inspiring historical drama (alt trans: provocative) yet uncomplicated story. As if there’s a story like… Actually… I do have one story like that. I do but… it’s one heck of a long story! You fine with that?... I got it. Fine, I’ll tell you a story that’ll leave a story loving Young One like you breathless/wanting for more. All the players of this story are exceedingly curious and strange/eccentric. I’m sure you’ll like it. Now then, I’ll begin. This story is called…
Demon Queen: Drama CD, Maoyuu Maou Yuusha! Volume 1. Prologue/First Half/First Book.
Storyteller: A war began between Humans and Demons who lived in the Demon World, it raged onwards for fifteen years. The military forces of Humanity managed to capture the Gate of Demon World and invade. It was one of vital/major grounds to seize. Similarly, the military forces of Demonkind managed to seize a part of the human world.
In the Southern Countries, there were repeated strikes/raids, endless battles between Crusaders and Demons. During this dark time, a single Hero arose. With his 3 dear comrades, he sallied forth into the Demon World. As the Hero’s group/party steadily advanced, they became to the people/citizens of Central Kingdoms their greatest hope.
For whatever reason, the Hero, perhaps frustrated by the slow progress of the war against Demon World (bad translation) or perhaps having a different reason, parted from his heroic comrades and headed straight towards the castle of the Demon Queen. Like an arrow let loose from a bow. Blessed with justice and rectitude, he proceeded without faltering/altering his path! (Alt trans: Proceeded straight like a line.)
Track 2:
Hero: How strange, why haven’t I seen any soldiers in the Demon King’s grand castle? Could it be a trap? If it’s a trap, then good. I’ll tear through them all as long as I can cut off the head of the Demon King! I’ll have no regrets!
Demon Queen: Take the passage to the left.
Hero: Sometimes, I hear a mysterious voice who guides me. At first, I thought it was a trap but she always seems to show me the right path to take. Could this be the handiwork of Spirit of Light.
Demon Queen: Ah, there’s a pit trap there.
Hero: Huh!? Ack!
Demon Queen: If you fall in, you’ll dash your brains out (bad translation)
Hero: Tell me that sooner! Hah! Man, that surprised me.
Demon Queen: Sorry about that. I was being careless/wasn’t paying attention.
Hero: Is she… really on my side?
Demon Queen: There are no more traps after this. All you need to do is go straight ahead.
Hero: Go straight ahead, eh? At last… It’s huge. It seems I’ve finally reached the throne room of the Demon King at last (bad translation). Where are you Demon King! I am Hero! I’ve come to defeat you! Reveal yourself and let us have an honorable duel! Gr! Now come, Demon King! Let’s end this!
Demon Queen: Greetings…
Hero: Huh?
Demon Queen: I said, greetings, Hero.
Hero: Wh- Who are you!? Huh? That voice… Ah, could it be? Were you the one… who guided me?
Demon Queen: That’s right. The Demon Queen’s Castle is large after all. I thought you’d be in trouble without some directions.
Hero: Oh thank you. It’s because of your guidance that I got here without getting lost. But… Just who are you? Ah, could you be some country’s princess who was kidnapped by the Demon King?
Demon Queen: Ah, no. I’m…
Hero: Quick, you must escape from here! If we encounter the Demon King here, this place will become a battlefield. It will be difficult for me to protect you during the fight, so you must…
Demon Queen: Oh in that case, there’s nothing to worry about. You’ve already encountered the Demon ‘King’.
Hero: What did you say? Where? Where are you Demon King?!
Demon Queen: Here~!
Hero: Hiding is cowardly! Show yourself!
Demon Queen: Hey~, Hero.
Hero: What is it?
Demon Queen: It’s me.
Hero: Huh?
Demon Queen: I’m the ‘Maou’ (trans note: Demon King).
Hero: Oh I see, your name is ‘Maou’… Bweh, huh?
Demon Queen: You didn’t realize it? And after getting Head Maid to prepare some ‘Demon Queen’ like clothing for me too.
Hero: W-w-w-why is the Demon King a woman?!
Demon Queen: Jeez, even if you ask me that, it’s the traditional title. There’s nothing I can do about it.
Hero: Damn it, this must be a tactic to lower my guard. I won’t be fooled! Reveal your true self, Demon King!
Demon Queen: I am the 43rd Demon Queen, also known (trans note: courtesy name) as Ruby Eyes. The true and rightful ‘Demon Queen’
Hero: Ruby Eyes… Huh, those red eyes are proof of demonic blood.
Demon Queen: Do you believe me now? Oh yea, I can convince you with my crest/emblem. Just wait a moment. It's wrapped under all this, so it’s pretty hard to get it out. It’s pretty tight.
Hero: S-s-s-s-stop that! Flaunting your chest like that isn’t going to tempt/seduce me! Isn’t going… hey…
Demon Queen: Here it is, this is my crest/emblem!... Hero?
Hero: It’s amazingly… large… Ah! Erg! It’s pointless to bewitch/seduce me!
Demon Queen: Um, that’s not what I was planning to do…
Hero: Damn it, even if you’re a woman or a distraction/trap, I decided to defeat the Demon Queen for everyone’s sake! That is the right choice! It is the correct choice! I will! Cut you down! Demon Queen, prepare yourself!
Demon Queen: Greetings, Hero.
Hero: Huh?
Demon Queen: We’re starting again from the beginning. Greetings.
Hero: URK! Just why are you trying to act so calmly? (alt trans: Why are you being so exasperating/infuriating!?)
Demon Queen: Hmph, not very sociable/cooperative are you? Well, let’s try this next. How are you (how do you do)?
Hero: How do I do?
Demon Queen: As for me, I’m in the greatest of moods. I’ve finally managed to meet Hero.
Hero: Eh?
Demon Queen: I’ve been waiting for a very long time for a Hero to appear. A long, long time. Even if I told you, you probably wouldn’t believe how much of a pleasure it is for me to (alt trans: how eagerly…) talk to you after waiting for so long.
Hero: Just what are you…
Demon Queen: I’m a bit disappointed that we weren’t able to exchange greetings but it can’t be helped. Come, let us raise the curtain and begin our play/story/stage. The first or, possibly, final scene of Hero and me. Hero, at long last I can finally say this to you. These words that have been hidden in my heart for so many years.
Hero: What do you want to say, Ruler/Queen of Demons!?
Demon Queen: Hero, become mine!
Hero: I refuse!
Track 3
Demon Queen: No matter what?
Hero: What are you saying? Do you how many countries were brought to ruin because of you?
Demon Queen: Are we talking about the Kingdom of the Forest?
Hero: That’s right! It was a beautiful country with green lush lands… But because of you, the skies became stained with darkness and the people driven to poverty!
Demon Queen: That’s because they didn’t consider the consequences of deforestation and producing charcoal. They destroyed themselves with reckless/heavy pollution.
Hero: Pollution?
Demon Queen: The sky darkened from the smoke produced from making charcoal… Ah~, that’s right, you don’t know what pollutions is yet.
Hero: Stop trying to fool me! (alt trans: Stop lying!) The Minister of the Bell Country and the subsequent civil war/chaos were the handiwork of you demons!
Demon Queen: That happened because the greedy/no good Minister tried to usurp political power and establish a harem of beautiful royal princesses but failed. After getting arrested, he then claimed that he had been brainwashed by demons, as expected from a crafty lying villain.
Hero: You still want to lie/mislead me… Unforgivable!
Demon Queen: I am not lying/trying to mislead you.
Hero: Then what of the war in the Southern Kingdoms? I was there and witnessed with my own eyes hundreds of humans being killed by demons on the battlefield!
Demon Queen: So?
Hero: So? Demon Queen that was caused by your invasion of the human world, I’ll never forgive you!
Demon Queen: That’s just only one perspective. We have our own opinions on who invaded who first, however, it doesn’t change the fact there is a war.
Hero: That’s right! You are evil!
Demon Queen: Fine, if I’m evil then, after killing me you will, of course, turn around to wipe out the royal families of the Southern Countries right?
Hero: Huh? Why would I need to do that? You Demons are the evil ones.
Demon Queen: Don’t humans kill demons as well? Who decided that demons are evil and humans are good?
Hero: … That’s…
Demon Queen: You know, in these situations, it would put your mind at ease if you could say things such as ‘I Decided’, ‘I am the Law!’ or ‘I am a Gundam!’ to yourself.
Hero: Shut up!!
Demon Queen: As you wish, I’ll stop talking about it since I like Hero.
Hero: Don’t say that!
Demon Queen: Here, take a look at this document.
Hero: What is this… Isn’t this parchment? It’s so thin, white and smooth…
Demon Queen: It’s print paper…Actually, never mind the paper, the most important thing is what’s written on it.
Hero: … Let’s see… Demand explosion… employment? Curve? Consumption trend… rate of economic dependency? What is this? An evil ritual?
Demon Queen: Wrong. That’s an economic analysis of the benefits of war on the consumer market.
Hero: Benefits… of war?
Demon Queen: That’s right. During this war, a great consumer market was created… (bad translation)
Hero: What benefit is there to this war? Isn’t this a war to respond to the Demon’s invasion of the human world? Do you intend to keep lying to me Demon Queen?
Demon Queen: Hero…
Hero: Don’t look at me like that! Why are you a woman? And why did you have to be this beautiful? Even your voice is lovely. It’s outrageous/unfair!
Demon Queen: If Hero wants it that, then I will fight seriously.
Hero: What?
Demon Queen: I do not care if you strike me after hearing what I am going to say…
Hero: Then offer your neck to me immediately!
Demon Queen: That is why! Please take some time to hear what I am going to say! This is the only chance left/once in a lifetime opportunity!
Hero: Fine then, speak.
Demon Queen: Thank you.
Hero: But, if you plan to do something suspicious, then I will have your head!
Demon Queen: I understand. Then I will start explaining. Please flip the document to the first page.
NOTE: It's the same as the light novel/manga. Read that while listening to the drama cd. It's almost exactly the same. I'm just going to translate the narrator since he's the only character who says anything new in the entire drama cd.
Track 4: Same as manga/light novel. Actually, more like, same as manga/light novel with a sprinkling of fan service and a little extra drama.
The Demon Queen shows Hero her graphs and papers to prove her point about the human world and demon world, the wars true impact and results. She's beginning to convince Hero to her point of view and confusing the hell out of him. Hero is not very smart.
But there are entertaining bits.
Hero: I don't get it.
Demon Queen: Hm, let's see. For example, on one world, you and me might have been traveling in a wagon together as peddling merchants. Or in another world, you and me were terrorists fighting as enemies of the world.
Hero: What kind of crazy talk is that? That's impossible!
Demon Queen: Well, if it's you and me, I think it's more than likely/possible. But... Actually, this isn't the main issue... Forget about it.
Next, she goes on about how she would like to see something new, something never seen and discover things. Hero goes, "so you want to become a hero?" and Demon Queen answers "Close but not quite"
She goes all excited and enthusiastic, she once again to ask Hero to be hers. He refuses again. So she tries again.Telling him that her offer is not quite what he thinks it is.
Track 5: A fairly fanservicey track, might translate it latter. Doesn't seem to have much overlap with the light novel/manga.
Narrator: And so the Hero and Demon Queen’s journey began. Unbeknownst to them both, their journey would take many years. And that that journey would influence/touch the destiny of many.
Track 6:
Narrator: Well then, at long last the tale of the Hero and Demon Queen can properly begin. What’s this? That was a great climax? What are you talkin’ about? That’s the story’s very, very beginning. The true story begins right after it. Didn’t I tell you? This story is really long. It can’t be help, for your shorty self’s sake I’ll try to make it as succinct/short as possible. Be thankful, but be warned, I’ll be talking non-stop. Try to keep up with the story okay?
Hero: Drama CD, Maoyuu Maou Yuusha! Volume 1. Main story/Second half.
Narrator: With the Demon Queen at the Hero’s side, they left the Demon Castle and headed towards the impoverished remote frontiers/regions of the Winter Country and came upon the Fuyugoshi Village. Here they gained a new comrade, Head Maid makes her appearance. She follows the ‘Maid Road/Path of the Maid’, like one who would follow chivalry/knighthood. As you can see, she’s a bit of strange one/weird one. Well, first listen to this story.
Track 7:
Demon Queen: I’ve had an aide of mine infiltrate this small village and prepare a house, but I do wonder where she is.
Hero: And it’s starting become dark, wouldn’t want to wander around in the cold….
Head Maid: Demon Queen!
Demon Queen: Oh, there she is. Hey, over here.
Head Maid: Oh my Demon Queen!
Demon Queen: It`s been awhile. Have you been well?
Head Maid: Of course. I’m glad to see you haven’t changed at all either Demon Queen.
Demon Queen: Hero, let me introduce her. She is…
Hero: You fool! This is a human village, you can’t run around shouting ‘Demon Queen’ all over the place.
Demon Queen: Hm, he’s right. Try to avoid that in the future.
Head Maid: Of course, Demon Queen.
Hero: She doesn’t understand at all. And who is she?
Demon Queen: My closest aide, and the one who leads the maids, the Head Maid.
Head Maid: As introduced by my Mistress, I am Head Maid. I have been caring for Maou-sama since she was little.
Hero: Uh, nice to meet you too. I’m Hero.
Head Maid: I heartily congratulate you on your felicitous wedding. My arms and heart tremble with joy for you.
Hero: Whoa, wait a sec. We didn’t get married.
Demon Queen: He’s right. We’re merely in a non-time limited, exclusive contract with each other.
Head Maid: Oh my, oh my, isn’t that what a marriage is?
Demon Queen: The difference between them is like the difference between clovers and white clovers.
Head Maid: But they’re the same thing.
Demon Queen: The difference isn’t just between names only.
Head Maid: Oh I see. It’s like the difference between a maid and cook or a concubine to a dakimakura (trans note: hugging pillow)
Hero: Um, sorry to interrupt your conversation. But evening is closing in fast.
Head Maid: Oh my, oh my. Well then, I shall guide you to the mansion.
Narrator: The next tale revolves around the unfortunate lives of two peasant sisters. They escape from their cruel master and arrive at the Demon Queen’s mansion. However, mindful of the local state of serfdom, they have no choice but to make them leave. The pitiable fruit of this encounter is cleanly cleaved from its root by Head Maid. The keyword of this chapter is ‘insect’ and ‘destiny/fate’.
Track 8:
Basically, a word by word replay of the manga where the Head Maid proclaims that the two maid sisters are ‘bugs’ and makes them maids.
Just read this manga http://mangafox.me/manga/maoyuu_maou_yuusha_kono_watashi_no_mono_tonare_yuusha_yo_kotowaru/
Narrator: And so with but a word and an instant by Head Maid, they became maids. Seriously, she just couldn’t be upfront about her feelings, this is what we call a tsundere. Oops, got off topic there. And so the sisters became Big Sister Maid and Little Sister Maid and began to work at the Demon Queen’s mansion. Do you think that they were soft? I do not. The earnest wish of the Big Sister Maid is… Oh boy, hold up, this story teller almost spoiled the story there. And so next up is the academy that the Demon Queen has founded. I guess you can just call it a ‘school’. Just a small scene from there. You might be wondering, ‘why a school’? The Demon Queen wished to begin an agricultural revolution and believed education was key to achieving it. And there youngsters were gathered and began their schooling. The keyword to remember for this next story is ‘political administration’ and (can’t understand). The three characters introduced are the martial spirit admiring Military Youngster, the refined but slightly resistant Noble Youngster and the skilful but timid Merchant Youngster.
Track 9:
This chapter is basically a retelling of the manga where the three youngsters and Big Sis Maid are attending class. A noticeable difference is that all youngster and the maid sis take part in explaining the situation regarding the Holy Crusaders.
Also there are little additions like the Noble Youngster going about how he understands dance and song faster than the lessons. The Demon Queen just drily comments that it’s outside her area of expertise.
That and you can hear the snark in Big Sis Maid’s voice at Noble Youngster and Military Youngster’s responses.
Narrator: Okay, we’re moving on to the next chapter. This too has a new companion, we introduce the Lady Knight. Formerly a member of Hero’s group as they ventured forth to the Demon Kingdom. Currently retired, and a representative of the Lake Shore Order. To begin their Agricultural revolution, Hero and Demon Queen go and visit the Lake Shore Order to negotiate and end up meeting Lady Knight. However the straight forward and earnest Lady Knight is furious at Hero who left her behind.
Track 10:
Also very similar to the manga chapter. The order of the conversation is slightly different from what’s in the manga though. The introduction is done first before the Lady Knight gets really pissed off after recognizing Hero. You can really hear how pissed off she is.
Narrator: Just so you know, Lady Knight is rather flat chested. On one hand, her opposite is all 'boing boing'. On the other, flat as flat can be. The two women were complete opposites. I'm quite envious of him. What irony.
