The Tracfone Value Plan is new for 2007. It is a great way to simply keep your Tracfone active.
50 Minute Value Plan
Sign up with your checking account, debit card, or charge card. It costs you $9.99 per month and you get 50 cellular minutes per month (100 minutes if your phone has the doubler card) and 30 days of activity.
This is a great inexpensive monthly prepaid phone plan if you want a phone for occasional/emergency use and you do not want to worry about it not being active.
It would be cheaper to buy four 60 minute cards off eBay. You can usually get them for $17 or less or you can buy them retail for $20. Install four of the 60 minute cards and you will get 12 months of use and 240 minutes for $80.
If you use the Tracfone Bonus codes with these cards you can up that number of minutes substantially. The 50 minute Value Plan would be $120 for a year and 600 minutes. Sign up at Tracfone.com.

Family Value Plans
Automatically add 30 days and 50 minutes to your first cell phone for $9.99 and add 30 minutes and 30 days and 30 minutes to your additional phone for $5.99.
Twenty cents per minute.. I have asked a Tracfone Customer Service person and they said the New Minute Doubler card will double these minutes. I do not have personal experience with this so I do not know for sure. If the doubler works your minutes will cost you 10 cents per minute. This is as cheap as you will get tracfone minutes usually.
Lifeline Value Plan
This is a simple Tracfone pay as you go Phone number saver. If you let your activation time expire you will lose your phone number. The Lifeline Value Plan is $4.95 for 30 days of service but only if you run out of activation time. It also allows you to use the "Add a Bundle" plan. If your phone number is very important to you be sure to sign up for this service.
Tracfone Value Plan Review
The Value plan is a good plan to keep your cell phone active without having to buy a one year card. For less than $10 a month you can keep your Tracfone Cell phone active and get monthly minutes. This make Tracfone the least expensive monthly phone plan. Buy a Motorola phone for $14.99 and get double minutes for life!
