World Language Credit Testing Workshop
Seattle Public Schools invites you to a FREE workshop on "Everything you wanted to know about World Language Credit Testing but were afraid to ask."

3 FREE Clock Hours provided by WAFLT (Washington Association for Language Teaching)
Audience: Counselors, Administrators, ELL and World Language teachers, Bilingual Instructional Assistants, Community members -- anyone interested in supporting students to earn credits for languages they know. The workshop is open to anyone, not just Seattle Public Schools employees.
The workshop will be held during a testing day at the Seattle World School, so you'll see first hand how we:
- check in students
- set up and proctor (paper) Writing tests for ACTFL, ALTA, and Custom Writing tests
- set up the technology for STAMP tests, WorldSpeak, and Custom Speaking tests
- proctor phone interviews for ACTFL and ALTA Speaking tests
You'll also learn the specific characteristics of the world language proficiency assessments available for different languages, take a STAMP sample test (if you'd like), find out how we communicate test results to schools (counselors) and families, and how we identify students qualified for the Seal of Biliteracy.
