4-6 sessions: 2 hours + 1 hour online component in Schoology -- 3 clock hours from WAFLT

Teacher Effectiveness for Language Learning (TELL) Workshops: Teachers will learn and apply research-based high-leverage practices for effective language learning and teaching, including:

• Using the Target Language and Comprehensible Input
• Empowering Students to Use the Target Language
• Conducting Integrated Performance Assessments (IPA) in the classroom
• Proficiency Assessment, Student Self-Assessment and Portfolios

October 12-13, 2018 COFLT-WAFLT Fall Conference in Portland

There will be a pre-conference workshop on Thursday, October 12, 2018, and post-conference workshops Saturday afternoon, October 13. National keynote speakers and workshop presenters include Paul Sandrock, Laura Terrill, and Ted Zarrow.
