In the three years of my undergraduate degree at a different university, I set foot in the Chaplaincy once and never (to my knowledge) met the chaplain, in my first week at Southampton I met Simon in the pub where he was talking to students and inviting all & sundry to Chaplaincy.
I've been in Southampton seven weeks and already it feels like Chaplaincy is my home on campus - a place to sit, drink tea, eat cake, socialise, be cheered up when you're down, eat cake, drink more tea, talk about all manner of things, and maybe even have some Serious Conversation.
