HEADLINE

This thinking routine will help us to identify the main ideas about a topic or a text. Also it is useful for summarize and connect personal conclusions. In a second part of this routine you can also identify how their though have changed after dealing with the whole topic



  • First step: You read the text or watch the video with the students. 
  • Second step: Say them to write a headline, like if the were journalist.
  • Third step: Deal with the topic, discuss with the students, ask them to work with it.
  • Fourth step: Ask them to write a new headline and reflex with them how the though have changed.
