There are so many resources to help us to be intelligent thinkers of history. And it's not just about how we think historically! It also involves what we use to stimulate our thought processes - written documents, photographs, videos, artefacts and even other excellent websites.

Located at Kent Ridge in Clementi, the department has very vibrant research and publication activities.
The Malaysian Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society
Itself a glorious product of Empire, this venerable academic body has, since 1877, published papers and articles on numerous subjects of interests, especially history, relating to Malaya and Singapore. It remains very active today and puts out journals, monographs and reprints of time-tested books.

This is a sumptuous online magazine site maintained by the National Heritage Board of Singapore. This is the place to search out the most fascinating bits of information on the history and heritage of Singapore! Highly recommended.
