Lawrence Walford

Lawrence is a winner - he will tell you that himself if you want to ask him at any stage. One appearance and one victory in his Redyr Cup rookie season, a feat rarely matched in the last few seasons was followed up by a roaring campaign in 2012 and one that has earnt him the right to captain a side in 2013 - an honour that he turned down to make the well known programme for Channel 4 - golf, gangsters and Graham Norton.

His dedication to the game resulted in a few post tournament technical tips to his fellow golfers (using the picture opposite) that should wipe a few shots of everyone's handicaps each year.

A contributor in every sense of the word, Lawrence was welcomed into the hotel's exclusive events guestlist on Saturday night with his take of the "Redyr Cup's new clothes" stage show together with the revival of "21" on the Saturday night in 2012.

2015 gave Lawrence the chance to demonstrate his captaincy skills - a great day 1 but let down on the course by his troops - Lawrence led by example on Friday with a Peter Moores style beatbox singalong coming before a more physical team building exercise that evening in the hotel.
