Elliot Wright

Els has suffered from a fractured Redyr Cup career. A rapid fire brace of wins in 2005 and 2006 led to the inevitable decline as he heard those magic words in 2007 - "You're on Ben Goor's team this year matey....".

Coming from the Dougs school (Or perhaps Dougs comes from the Els school) of golfing Elliot is a silent yet thoughtful contributor to the tour with a return made to Stratford in 2010 where he kindly brought along his newfound slice to demonstrate to everyone. The captaincy in 2013 provided him with the opportunity to a) give Dougs a kicking and b) forever banish that Gore relaterd nightmare moment from his gofling career. Unfortunately it did neither and Els returned in 2014 older, wiser and thankfully on Doug's side.

In 2015 Els was thoroughly let down by his playing partners (Huw and Dougs hang your heads in shame) but kept playing through the day to support Greys to a well earned draw.
