When people think of mythology, they often think exclusively of Greek and Roman mythology. This is an understandable connection. In fact, Greek and Roman Mythology is considered "Classical Mythology", and many courses are taught just on the myths of these cultures. In order to broaden your view, this course functions more as an overview of multicultural mythology. Nonetheless, we would be at a loss not to spend a substantial about of time talking about these most famous of all myths. These tales that flood our art, music, and terminology, and are alluded to frequently in both literature and modern media.
