ONLINE ALTERNATIVE LECTURES:
Please note, I am not a "know-all, mythology expert". Mythology is a field of subjectivity and alternatives. Therefore, the version I present should not be taken as THE only possible way of presenting this mythology.
Mythology is a term that is often heard in our culture today. However, due to usage, it is also often misunderstood. The first portion of this course is dedicated to defining mythology. For, if we do not have a workable definition for mythology, it will be very difficult to study it. Next week we will be diving into some lectures, readings and activities to help explain mythology and why it is studied. Before we do this, however, I want you to explore your current understanding of the term mythology.
