Mythology
Please note, I am not a "know-all, mythology expert". Mythology is a field of subjectivity and alternatives. Therefore, the version I present should not be taken as THE only possible way of presenting this mythology.

Welcome to Mythology!Â
Many literary and cultural references today are centered upon the mythologies of the past. This course will give you a base knowledge of Greek, Roman, Celtic, and Norse mythology. Through your participation in this course, you will gain a literary and historical foundation, which you will use to better understand allusions found not only in classic and academic literature, but also in newspapers, television, film, political cartoons, satire and modern prose.
This website should serve as a tool for enhancing your experience in my class. I will not only provide you with the required materials for the course (i.e. handouts and assignments given in class), but also enrichment activities for deeper exploration.
I hope you enjoy the class. Here are a few links to get you started!
Have a great day and make wise decisions!
